Established in 1983 The Oriental Rug Shop has become the largest retailer of quality traditional handmade Persian rugs, Persian Carpets, Afghan rugs, and Afghan Carpets in the south of England.

Located on the Kent / Sussex border The Oriental Rug Shop is ideally situated to serve Kent, Sussex, Surrey, and London UK. At our High Street showroom in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent there is approximately 1,000 individually selected high quality handmade Oriental rugs, Persian rugs and Afghan rugs and carpets for sale. Rugs for sale range from small ultra fine silk rugs to rustic, character tribal rugs, as well as a massive selection of magnificent country house Persian carpets and Afghan carpets in some of the largest sizes produced.

Arrangements can be made for clients to view any of our Oriental rugs, Persian rugs, Afghan rugs, Oriental Carpets, Persian Carpets, and Afghan carpets €œin situ€. We also have a first classrug cleaning service andrug repair service.

Each Oriental rug, Afghan rug, Afghan carpet, Persian rug, and Persian carpet for sale is a unique art-form, handmade by traditional methods with ancient designs and motifs.
