Magnificent finely woven antique Persian Sarouk Ferahan Dozar rug made in the last quarter of the nineteenth century. It has dignified yet, mellow colours with an ivory medallion set against an indigo ground with terracotta corners.  

This Persian Sarouk Ferahan rug has a short and stiff woollen pile that is evenly low all-over knotted onto a cotton foundation. It is in superb condition, and the ends have been recently rewoven. - A real gem!
