Fine Persian Mahi Tabriz Carpet in an impressive large size.

This Mahi Tabriz carpet has a smooth woollen pile highlighted with subtle

flecks of white silk integrated throughout the entire design - all handknotted

onto a cotton warp and weft. It has a notable knot count of in excess of 270 per

square inch; this weave is graded as a 50 Raj. A Raj is a unit of lineal measurement

of knots along the warp thread equivilent to approximately 7cm.
