Persian Nanaj carpets make excellent Dining Room style carpets due

to their distinctive all-over design. The example illustrated below has a

dark blue background which is classic to Nanaj.

Like all weavings of the Hamadan district, this Nanaj has a single weft

construction and a woollen pile formed by Turkish knots.
