Origin: Bakhtiari/Luri

Technique: Hand-woven of mixed techniques: Soumak flat weave front, striped kilim weave reverse.

Material: Wool.

Colours and Design: The colours of this semi antique Salt bag are mature. The shades include blue, cream, rust and dark green. The pattern shows a diamond design on one side with a striped reverse.

Condition/Age: It’s in good order considering it’s age. It’s probably spent a good portion of it’s life on display! Dates from the mid Twentieth Century.
