Delivery Terms and Conditions

  1. All rugs purchased from this website will be sent free of charge within the U.K. (mainland only), delivery charges will apply outside of the U.K. email us at enquiries@theorientalrugmerchant.co.uk for information.
  2. Delivery charges will also apply to underlay purchases unless purchasing at the same time as a Rug/Carpet.
  3. We aim to deliver within 7 working days, this may vary dependant on shipping location and customs clearance.
  4. For international enquiries, please email us at: enquiries@theorientalrugmerchant.co.uk.
  5. All prices shown include VAT at the current (UK) VAT rate (VAT No:143328724).
  6. You may return an item for any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. (See Returns Policy below).
  7. Length measurements specified do not include fringes unless specified in description.

Returns Policy

We don’t sell anything that we wouldn’t have in our own homes.

We want you to love your rug!

If you don’t, simply contact us to arrange your Return.

To make a return.

Firstly, please notify us within 14 days after the date of receipt of the item by email at: enquiries@theorientalrugmerchant.co.uk or phone us on: 01892 533080

Please pack the item securely. We triple wrap the rugs we dispatch, so that you can use the internal wrapping for return (if required).

Send the rug back to us in the same condition that it arrived with the delivery slip.

All items returned are done so at your expense.  We highly recommend that you use a Fully Trackable delivery service for all returns and that the item/items are fully insured against loss or damage.

Rug Underlay Returns

You may also return Rug Underlay to us at your expense. The Underlay must be in unused & unaltered condition.

Unfortunately we are unable to refund Underlay where it has been prepared to your specification.
