At The Oriental Rug Merchant, we stock a fascinating range of tribal bags & trappings. Our collection features collectables from across the rug weaving belt.

These items are particularly interesting as they were made for the weavers own use rather than for commercial purposes. These are unique, one-of-a-kind tribal and village weavings. As the old nomadic ways die out, these items are simply no longer being made. Often these bags are incredibly finely made, thus not commercially viable to be item to be made.
