Technique: Hand-knotted.

Material: Wool pile (handspun ghazni wool), knotted onto cotton warps and weft.

Colours and Design: This Afghan Chubi Fil Pai mat has a charming design featuring two octagon shaped gul motifs. It has a rust main colour along with numerous other colours including beige, brown, purple, blue, yellow and soft orange. 

Condition/Age: New.

The term Chubi (Chobi, choobi, choubi) is derived from the word “wood”. These Chubi Rugs are naturally dyed rugs handmade with handspun wool knotted onto a cotton foundation.
