Size: 48×95cm / 1’7″x3’1″ Thickness: 8mm
Origin: West Afghanistan, vicinity of Herat.
Technique: Hand-knotted.
Material: Wool pile, knotted onto wool warps.
Colours and Design: This enchanting Balouch mat has striking colours and design. It has a geometric Bokhara theme 9 gul motifs on a brown field with orange, olive green and cream.
Condition/Age: Full pile. Possibly up to 20 years old.
