Origin: West Afghanistan, vicinity of Herat.
Technique: Hand-knotted.
Material: Wool pile, knotted onto cotton warps.
Colours and Design: This Afghan Belouch Mat has a superb geometric design of 9 Bokhara-like guls. It has eye catching colours featuring a primary colour of red as well as detail shades of blue, dark bottle green, orange, midnight blue and cream.
Condition/Age: Full pile. Possibly up to 20 years old.
