Additional Information:
This is a classic, traditional handmade Afghan Rug featuring age-old Turkmen patterns.
These Kargahi Rugs are made by traditional methods consisting of a hand-knotted wool pile knotted onto cotton warps. The wool is luxurious and soft to the touch.
Often these Rugs have all over repeating patterns with such designs as the classic Fil Pai (Elephant’s foot motif), as well as Caucasian and Kazak designs.
Ersari Rugs generally have a light but cosy colour palette. These rugs use an orangey-red, terracotta, or browny-red as the main feature colour with exciting complimentary additional tones. These often include blue, green, orange and beige.
