Material: Wool, woven onto cotton warps.

Colours and Design: This Kilim runner has a multi-colour theme with cheerful bright colours including green, purple, blue, red, cream, orange and grey. This colourful Kilim Runner has a funky geometric all over design.

This Afghan Kilim runner is outstanding value! The wonderful colours show very gentle and delicate variations of shade.

This Afghan Kilim consists of wool and is a handmade flat-weave, i.e. a rug without pile.  The weft coloured weft threads are woven in blocks which creates the pattern, and where two colours meet there is a tiny gap – hence the term slit weave.

One of the many benefits of this type of kilim is that because of the way it is constructed it is the same on both sides, meaning that it can be used either way up.

For use on a hard floor (wood, tiles, etc) or on carpet Underlay is recommended to prevent slippage.
